MARRY YOUR BIKE SUCCESS!!!

Oh man, we had such a great time at last night's 'Marry Your Bike' event! Thanks to everyone who came out to show the love to their two wheeled partners. Over 400 unions between humans and bikes were made, officiated by the endlessly energetic Elvis (aka Ricky) and witnessed by the deadly nightshades, who were in disguise as Dolly Parton, Sister Seafoam, Mermaid One and Mermaid Two.

In support of velo love and commitment, we wish everyone who came by a long and happy life with their bikes. May you love and cherish through sickness and health!

Special shout out goes to Dolly Parton's ride 'Big Rocket', who was part of over 150 beautiful unions. She's got all the love to give.

Here are a few of our favourite snaps from last night.

But Please check out Digital Fabrik's gallery for the full selection!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, AND ENDLESS GRATITUDE TO ALL THE BEAUTIES WHO HELPED MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

First marriage of the night....

Dear Girls, Iam a brazilian teacher and journalist and would be grateful to interview you to an article to a brazilian cycling magazine (VO2 bike). I knew your beautiful and original story at Huck magazine. I want to write about the creativity, freedom and beauty your crew create and inspire with The Deadly Nightshades.
Can you send me the contact (email or Facebook page) from Kirsten, Cat, Irene and Niamh?
I live at São Paulo, brazil´s biggest city and our major is fighting the car´s culture creating a lot of bike trails in the city. The number of bike riders are increasing but a minority is woman. Your gang could be a great inspiration to estimulate brazilian girls to invade the streets and create.
Thank you very much for your attention, salute
José Augusto

If I marry my bike, I don't think I can promise monogamy. What with all my bikes and all, unless I can marry all of them? Anyway, great pictures! :)
